the Harley Street Medical Skin Clinic is proud to be amongst the first to offer the VISIA Digital Complexion Analysis system, a system which allows a highly detailed digital scan to be made of your skin, close analysis of which enables personal and highly specific treatment programmes to be designed. This results in your skin being able to achieve its optimal condition and appearance, with alterations being made to the treatment regime as VISIA imaging identifies on-going change.
The VISIA system scans, analyses and records both surface and subsurface skin conditions such as wrinkles, spots, pores, evenness and sun damage. The information obtained from this analysis gives us the tools to plan a treatment programme and customize a skin care regime based on your unique complexion profile. As your treatments progress, The VISIA Digital Complexion Analysis system provides invaluable assistance in tracking the changes in your skin and monitoring the effectiveness of the treatments.
Digital imaging is easy and pain free. After cleansing the skin, the patient is made comfortable in front of the VISIA image booth. A digital image is recorded under natural as well as ultra-violet light. The image is then analyzed using an advanced computer programme. Each session takes about 10 to 15 minutes, at the end of which we give you a printed report with colour images together with our recommendations for the skin care products to be used until the next session, usually a month later, when another digital image will be taken and analysed for comparative purposes, allowing us to make changes to the skin care regime if necessary.
